Former General Dynamics Information Technology executive Joseph Chioda has joined ManTech as vice president of account management of the Mission, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions Group.
In his new role, Chioda will lead account management and enhance customer engagement to grow ManTech’s support of the U.S. intelligence community. He will report to John McNiff, senior vice president of business development of MCIS.
“Joe is a proven leader with total commitment to serving the sophisticated technology needs of government agencies charged with safeguarding national security,” said Rick Wagner, president of ManTech’s MCIS Group. “We look to Joe to take this support to the next level, advancing their missions with state-of-the art technology solutions that deliver insights essential to ensuring strategic advantage.”
Chioda has over 25 years in business development, capture and P&L leadership. In addition to GDIT, he has held executive positions at BAE Systems, AT&T Government Systems and DynCorp International.
Chioda’s appointment follows a recent string of executive hires. In November, Daniel Payne was named senior vice president and chief security officer and James Marson was tapped as vice president of contracts/subcontracts in the MCIS Group. In January, Kemp Ensor was appointed as vice president and deputy general manager of the Security Solutions Business Unit in the MCIS Group.
