Siemens Government Technologies has appointed Matthew Madalo vice president of legal, contracts and compliance.

“Matthew brings a great depth of experience in the detailed structure of government contracting, matched by a deep familiarity in international law and procurement, helping us bring the very best solutions Siemens can offer for some of our most complex customer challenges,” said Tina Dolph, SGT president and CEO.

An experienced legal and government contracting professional, Madalo has held a variety of both industry and government positions over his career. Most recently, he led an international contracts team as legal counsel and director of contracts management for Rapiscan Systems Inc.

Over his career, Madalo has developed and implemented companywide U.S. government contract compliance programs and associated policies and procedures.

“I look forward to working closely with Tina and the executive team at SGT to help them in not only enhancing their compliance programs for the sustained confidence of their customers, but equally important, to amplify a level of transparency that’s in keeping with the special responsibility and privilege Siemens’ has to serve government customers and their vital missions,” Madalo said.
