ManTech has appointed Kemp Ensor as vice president and deputy general manager of its Security Solutions Business Unit within the company’s Mission, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions Group.
Prior to ManTech, Ensor served 37 years in government, most recently as director of security and counterintelligence for the National Security Agency for 18 years. He gained respect across the intelligence community during his time at NSA, and in October 2019, was awarded the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal by the director of national intelligence.
“Kemp comes to this job with a proven record of serving national security interests at the highest level,” said Rick Wagner, president of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions Group.
In his new position, Ensor will report to Adam Rudo, ManTech’s senior vice president and general manager of the Security Solutions Business Unit. Ensor will help lead strategic and operational initiatives that are driving innovative technology solutions in support of intelligence community missions.
“At ManTech, he will build on his prestigious career in exciting new ways that advance America’s strength in up-to-the-second, forward-looking intelligence,” Wagner added.
This is the latest in a series of executive hires to advance “ManTech Secured,” an initiative to build on the company’s position as a trusted partner of government. ManTech recently named Daniel E. Payne as senior vice president and chief security officer and James C. Marson as vice president of contracts/subcontracts for its Mission, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions Group.
