Six hundred business, philanthropic and community leaders will convene Oct. 4 to celebrate the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia and to raise funds to build a better community for everyone.
The Raise the Region Gala will also honor retired Maj. Gen. Carl H. McNair, Jr. with the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia’s 2019 Community Leadership Award.
Held at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner in Virginia, the black-tie event begins at 6:30 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. It will feature a seated dinner and live and silent auctions.
The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia helps grow local philanthropy to respond to critical need and seed innovation in the region.
