    RGi Hires Sidney Medford for Newly Created COO Position

    Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. has appointed its first chief operating officer: former TASC executive Sidney Medford, who will manage RGi’s rapidly expanding business, executing on the company’s 3-year strategy and building external alliances and strategic relationships.

    “Sidney is a seasoned and trusted leader who consistently delivers results,” RGi CEO Stephen Gillotte said. “I have tremendous confidence in Sid’s ability to create operational excellence while providing the foundation for our next round of growth.”

    Medford was previously tasked with capture and program management of RGi’s defense, intelligence and federal business clients.

    “RGi’s mission has never been more compelling; we exist to create an immediate impact for our nation’s soldiers and analysts,” she said. “I am incredibly energized to help lead the company to its next phase of innovation and growth.”

    Before joining RGi in 2014, Medford serves as a capture executive at TASC, where she led strategic corporate captures in the intelligence community.

    Medford was also responsible for TASC’s advisory and assistance services that provided critical decision solutions in area such as systems engineering, program management and acquisition services support to the intelligence community, the Defense Department and federal civilian agencies.
