Mike Thompson, who has served as interim chief financial officer for Unisys Corp. since April, has been permanently named to the position.
Thompson joined Unisys in December 2015 as corporate controller and principal accounting officer.
Thompson’s business acumen has been an advantage to the company and it continues to enhance its financial and operational performance, said Unisys Chairman and CEO Peter Altabef.
“His deep understanding of Unisys, its people and its processes have proven to be invaluable in helping us strengthen our balance sheet and create additional flexibility in our capital structure since he joined the company,” Altabef said of Thompson. “We are very pleased to announce that Mike will serve in this role going forward.”
