On Sept. 13, ManTech International President and CEO Kevin Phillips will speak for the Northern Virginia Technology Council on the topics of data privacy and intellectual property.
A leader of almost 8,000 employees worldwide, Phillips will also discuss progress and work to be done around security clearance reform. After his formal remarks, which will range from growth focus areas such as cybersecurity and software engineering, Phillips will take questions from the audience.
The breakfast of hundreds of executives will be held at the Ritz Carlton, Tysons Corner from 7-9:15 a.m.
Phillips has led ManTech since December 2017, when he was promoted from chief financial officer to CEO. Last year, he made WashingtonExec’s annual Top 25 Execs to Watch List for steering the company in the organization’s 50th year of being in business.
Security clearance adjudication remains a cornerstone of Phillips’ representation of the federal contracting community to the general public, testifying before Congress on the then-700,000 employee on-boarding backlog in March 2018.
Most recently, Phillips was a finalist for the Greater Washington 2018 Government Contractor Executive of the Year category for companies greater than $300 million.
