    Bob Work

Former Deputy Defense Secretary Bob Work has joined System High‘s board of directors, the company has announced.

Work’s career spans four decades in national security, defense strategy, programming, budgeting and defense transformation. He was appointed in 2014 to serve as the 32nd deputy defense secretary. In that role, Work oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Pentagon as well as the development of its $600 billion program and budget under multiple defense secretaries of defense.

Work also served as undersecretary of the Navy after 27 years in the Marine Corps, where he rose to the rank of colonel.

“Bob’s thought leadership, global insight, and dedication to preserving the United States’ warfighting superiority across the battle spectrum makes him an invaluable resource to System High, and he will enhance the Company’s efforts to protect national security technologies, operations, and assets,” said Jason Rigoli, partner at Enlightenment Capital, a System High investor.
