Savan Group has named Kristin Hug a portfolio director to lead several agency-level accounts as a part of the company’s leadership team.
Hug comes from DRT Strategies, where she most recently served as managing director and Agriculture Department account lead. In that role, she focused on clients including Farm Production and Conservation, Food and Nutrition Service and the OCIO Information Security Office. Hug led business development, client delivery and staff management, accelerating the growth of her team from 10 to over 85 in a few short years.
In addition to that experience, Hug has a track record of mentorship, career development and performance management for her teams and employees.
“I am excited to join Savan Group and work in such a high-energy environment with extremely talented individuals,” Hug said. “I am looking forward to bringing my talents to the Savan family to drive exceptional client delivery, provide mentorship to employees, and achieve company goals.”
Hug will oversee day-to-day client delivery activities and ensure the firm’s clients are getting the highest level of service.
“We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Kristin’s caliber and experience join our firm,” Savan Group President and CEO Veeral Majmudar said. “Her track record and accomplishments speak for themselves and I look forward to working with her to achieve our firm goals and objectives of providing consulting services deserving of our clients.”
Hug will work with Savan Group’s Senior Vice President of Federal Services Jodi Huston as well as the company’s other portfolio director, Jim MacMillan, to help lead project teams and drive growth.
