Electrosoft has been awarded a fixed-price task order with the Defense Logistics Agency’s J6 Enterprise Technology Services indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract vehicle to provide mobility and software integration services.
The single-award $7.9 million contract has a period of performance through December 2021, and under it, Electrosoft will support J6’s Enterprise IT Architecture division with contract management, enterprise system configuration management services and directory services.
“This task order represents an important win for Electrosoft, providing a stage for demonstrating our considerable capabilities in the areas of software integration and support for mobility devices,” said Tony Myers-Burton, Electrosoft’s senior vice president for customer solutions,
Specifically, the federal tech-based solutions and services provider will help with J6’s Enterprise Active Directory, messaging, virtual desk infrastructure, mobility and software integration services. Electrosoft will also support initiatives like smartphone and tablet deployment, and communication software included within Microsoft Office 365 (like Skype for Business and TEAMS).
“We’ll not only perform management and administrative efforts but also assist infrastructure, application and remote capabilities in support of the DLA and J6 mission,” Myers-Burton said. “With 40,000 devices/users on one system and an unstated number of devices/users throughout DLA’s global enterprise, it is a challenge we willingly embrace.”
