ManTech Inks Deal to Acquire Kforce Government Solutions

ManTech International Corp. has signed a deal to acquire Kforce Government Solutions for $115 million, in a move expected to grow ManTech’s footprint in the Veterans Affairs Department.

The acquisition will add 500 employees to the ManTech team and allow the company to deliver services through VA’s Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation program, known as T4NG. The 10-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract aims to transform VA’s IT environment.

KGS, formerly a wholly owned subsidiary of Kforce, provides a range of technology solutions, transformation management, data management and analytics in support of federal health and defense missions.

ManTech will fund the acquisition from cash on hand with additional funding from its existing line of credit.

KippsDeSanto & Co. is advising KFORCE on the transaction, which is expected to close this month.
