Peraton will provide propulsion and engineering systems support to the Naval Air Systems Command under a $23 million contract the company has won.

The NAVAIR contract has one base year plus four option years.

“Peraton offers a deep understanding of the dynamic naval aviation environment, and the technical skill and agility essential to advance the Navy’s mission,” said Gus Bontzos, president of Peraton’s defense and electronic warfare sector. “And we are committed partners in supporting next-generation warfighter readiness.”

Under the contract, Peraton will continue to provide improvements for propulsion systems and power engineering to advance safety, reliability and system performance. Peraton’s engineers and scientists will also support research, systems engineering and integration, and evaluation for naval aviation propulsion and power systems.

Earlier this summer, Peraton snagged a $9.45 million Justice Department deal to improve DOJ’s intrusion analysis capabilities and to enhance malware triage through automation. Prior to that contract awarded in July, Peraton won a spot on a $7.5 billion Defense Information Systems Agency multiple award contract.
