The Women’s Center is hosting its annual “Reaching Forward, Giving Back” gala next month.

The black-tie-optional event, which is expected to draw nearly 500 attendees, will be held Oct. 13 from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner.

The event features cocktails, dinner, dancing, a live band and a silent auction. The gala supports The Women’s Center, which provides affordable mental health care, domestic violence advocacy, and career and financial education services.

NBC4 meteorologist Doug Kammerer is again set to emcee the gala.

Tickets are $300 each. There are also sponsorship opportunities to include tickets for groups of between 2 and 20 attendees.
