    Anthony Salvi, VMD Systems Integrators

VMD Systems Integrators has appointed two senior vice presidents to lead the company’s government solutions and Defense Department units as well as a chief technology, the company announced.

Brian Westhoff, who joined VMD this month, will lead the company’s government solutions group. Westhoff is a former executive at Aquilent, which was acquired by Booz Allen Hamilton last year. He also held senior roles at Addx, Data Federal, Compuware, Infinium Software and Etensity.

Todd Fritzler is responsible for strategic growth and operations within the company’s defense unit. Before joining VMD earlier this summer, he spent nine years at Catapult Technology, where he served as vice president of defense and diplomacy. Fritzler previously led Keane Federal Systems’ diplomacy program.

As CTO, Jim Walsh, who joined VMD in March, is responsible for all IT initiatives at the company. Walsh, the former founder and CEO of Advanced IT Services, previously worked as a senior systems architect at Catapult Technologies.

Westhoff, Fritzler and Walsh will all report to Chief Operating Officer Anthony Salvi.

“These are all important hires for us as we work to grow our business and to continue to pursue and win larger contracts,” Salvi said. “We’re thrilled to have Brian, Todd and Jim on board and we’re looking forward to their contributions to the organization.”
