DLH Holdings Unit Bumps Up a Level in CMMI

Helene Fisher, DLH

DLH Holdings’ Mission Services and Solutions operating unit has achieved Level 3 under the Capability Maturity Model Integration system of tracking process and project improvements, according to a company announcement.

“We are very proud of this important accomplishment,” said MSS President Helene Fisher. “We look forward to continually improving our customers’ return on investment with sustainable and measurable processes. Our clients will benefit from greater productivity and reliable performance.”

The company, which is based in Atlanta and has more than 1,400 employees throughout the country, is a technology-focused health care and human services provider for the federal government, including the Defense Department.

The level 3 rating came in Version 1.3 of CMMI. A Level 3 rating means the company’s processes are well characterized and understood, and described in standards, procedures, tools and methods.

The CMMI model was developed by Carnegie Melon University.
