Salient CRGT, Inc. has been awarded a subcontract by Mackson Consulting, LLC to provide life-cycle support to a Food and Drug Administration office focused on IT and technology.
Salient CRGT will assist the Office of Information Management and Technology in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining enterprisewide administrative systems. The contract was awarded under the GSA Schedule 70 contract vehicle for a 1-year base period and a 4-year option period valued at nearly $30 million.
Additionally, Salient CRGT will provide FDA with requirements analysis and software development through testing and user support. The team will conduct O&M activities for 32 enterprise administrative applications as well as new development to meet agency directives.
“Through our lifecycle support services, the FDA staff will be able to more efficiently perform a broad range of critical administrative functions, such as on-boarding new employees, processing security clearances, and managing budgets,” said Tom Ferrando, president and CEO of Salient CRGT. “Building on our past experience working on the JAADE program, our team looks forward to further enhancing the FDA’s data capture, workflow, and reporting capabilities.”
