As part of its annual Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards, the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce has named RGi CEO Stephen Gillotte the 2018 Emerging Influential of the Year.

This award recognizes an exceptional leader who embodies how business success and community involvement go hand-in-hand to impact the D.C. metro region.

“I’ve always believed that community involvement is not a spectator sport,” said Steve. “Creating an immediate impact in the neighborhoods where we live, socialize, work, and play is a top priority for myself and all RGi’ers.”

Gillotte’s contributions range from establishing RGi’s Power Pack Program (P3) in partnership with Food For Others, to leading by example with RGi’s involvement with the Hypothermia Prevention and Response Program, to creating an RGi Community Grant Program – all benefitting local communities.

Along with Gillotte’s award, RGi received second place for the Outstanding Corporate Citizen of the Year award in the Small Business category for its above-and-beyond corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts. More than 30 RGi’ers, friends and family members contributed to the various RGi programs during the past two years, creating an immediate and lasting impact in local communities.
