Accelera Solutions has announced the appointment of Jake Zimmerman as a federal account executive responsible for the company’s national security and foreign affairs portfolio. Zimmerman brings a proven track record transforming strategic growth priorities into executable plans aligned to client’s mission objectives, industry innovations and evolving agency policies, Accelera said.
Zimmerman’s success helping organizations optimize investments and generating tangible outcomes is due largely in part to his ability to listen and understand different perspectives and communicate across all levels of the organization and senior leadership, the company said.
“We are excited to have Jake on board to expand Accelera’s portfolio of customers in the federal sector,” said Jason March, vice president of growth and development at Accelera Solutions. “His years of experience with the public sector combined with his understanding of the transformation technologies will surely be optimal for helping our clients achieve mission critical IT modernization. When we asked what Jake is most excited about, he said, ‘I look forward to rolling up my sleeves with our clients and working on challenging issues like driving secure and flexible cloud strategies, enhancing mobility, and leveraging virtualization to enhance our country’s public safety and national security posture.'”
Zimmerman joins Accelera after six years at PricewaterhouseCoopers Public Sector (PwC) where he served as a customer relationship executive in the international public sector. He was responsible for driving growth with the Department of State, U.S. Agency for International Development and other federal civilian agency customers. Specifically, he focused on delivering performance management, operational effectiveness and IT transformation engagements. Prior to PwC, Zimmerman held business development, sales and marketing roles with government contractors including STG and SAIC.
