VariQ Corp. has been awarded a spot on the General Services Administration’s $50 billion Alliant 2 contract, allowing it to bid on a wide range of IT work for GSA’s federal partners.

The Alliant 2 vehicle is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity governmentwide acquisition contract, and it aims to provide comprehensive and flexible IT services and solutions to government agencies. The contract award is another step in the company’s continued growth and evolution, CEO Ben Edson said.

“Alliant 2 represents a game changer for VariQ, as we emerge from small business status to join the ranks of the government’s best-in-class mid-tier solution providers,” Edson said. “The Alliant 2 vehicle will broaden our customer reach and provide a path of continued high-quality IT services to existing clients.”

VariQ is an IT services company based in Rockville, Maryland, with more than 200 employees.
