The Women’s Center is hosting its annual “Reaching Forward, Giving Back” gala.

The black-tie optional event from 6:30-11 p.m. on Oct. 14 is expected to draw 450 business and community leaders. Staged at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner, the gala will feature cocktails, dinner, dancing, a live band and silent auctions.

Proceeds support The Women’s Center, a Virginia institution that has provided more than 40 years of counseling, support and education geared toward helping people live healthy, stable and productive lives.

Tickets are $300 each, and cash and auction items are being accepted.

The benefit chair is Tim Hurlebaus, president of CGI Federal, and the vice chair is Catherine Nelson, senior vice president of LMI. Janet Hill will be honored at the gala, and Doug Kammerer of NBC4 will again emcee.
