eGlobalTech has been awarded a contract to support the Transportation Security Administration’s efforts to secure its information technology systems.

eGlobalTech will support TSA’s Information Assurance and Cybersecurity Division in delivering IT security support services that protect and maintain the availability, integrity and confidentiality of TSA’s IT systems, the company said.

IAD is seeking to achieve continued Federal Information Security Management Act compliance as a bi-product of security risk management. eGT will partner with IAD to enhance its risk management program, develop security policies and provide information system security officer services and security control assessment support.

“We are honored that we have been given this opportunity to support TSA and the important mission it executes,” said Sonya Jain, CEO and president of eGT. “Our proven frameworks for effectively managing risks and vulnerabilities will ensure TSA’s security needs are consistently met. Today, cyber is our biggest practice area. Our support extends across DHS and HHS, where we help our clients not only obtain high FISMA scores, but also successfully implement sound security practices.”

eGlobalTech has previously been awarded contracts to help the Homeland Security Department with enterprisewide infrastructure support services work and emergency communications systems.
