eGlobalTech on Wednesday announced the appointment of Takisha Schulterbrandt as the vice president of operations and delivery for eGlobalTech’s portfolio of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services programs.

eGlobalTech, which provides IT solutions and cybersecurity consulting services to the federal government, said it was excited to bring on board a respected leader and health care expert like Schulterbrandt, who has more than 20 years’ experience supporting the Health and Human Services Department and CMS.

She will be tasked with expanding eGlobalTech’s footprint in the federal health care arena by focusing on strategic growth, enhancing customer engagement strategies and ensuring the delivery of quality services, according to the company.

“We’re thrilled to add such a dynamic, experienced and intelligent health care expert to our executive team,” said Sonya Jain, president and CEO of eGlobalTech. “Takisha’s immense and profound knowledge of science and federal health care make her a colossal asset to our team and a perfect fit to lead our already robust and successful CMS portfolio.”

Schulterbrandt, who earned a doctorate in anatomy and neurobiology with an emphasis in neurosciences from the University of Maryland, said eGlobalTech’s investments in people and technology convinced her to join up.

“I joined eGlobalTech because of the clear investments made in our people, processes and advanced technologies,” she said. “I was impressed by the company’s attention to detail as well as the technology being spun out of eGT Labs. I am excited to join such a talented group of professionals and eager to continue growing and delivering the highest quality of work to our CMS customers.”
