    David McClure, Accenture Federal Services

Accenture Federal Services has hired Dave McClure, a former General Services Administration official who shaped the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program. McClure will lead transformational IT initiatives for the company.

McClure will oversee forward-looking client projects that include cloud computing adoption, digital transformation, IT modernization, cloud security and creative customer-focused web design, Accenture said.

McClure joined Accenture from Coalfire Federal/Veris Group, where he was a chief strategist of cybersecurity. There, McClure worked with both government and commercial enterprises.

While serving at GSA, McClure led the design and implementation of FedRAMP, the federal government’s security authorization process for cloud computing products and services. His previous IT experience includes senior-level work at Gartner Group, the Council for Excellence in Government, and the Government Accountability Office.

McClure is a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration, and is the past executive chair and current Executive Committee member of the Industry Advisory Council.
