Vencore is raising funds for the American Heart Association through the Sept. 18 Vencore Has Heart Charity Golf Tournament.
This marks the third year the IT company has partnered with AHA for charity events. This year’s golf tournament will take place at Westfields Golf Club with registration beginning 7 a.m. and a shotgun start 8 a.m. There will be a four-person captain’s choice scramble.
All golfers will receive carts, greens fees, range balls, drinks on the course, hot breakfast and lunch and a tee gift.
The cost is $300 per individual or $1,200 for foursomes. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. All proceeds go directly to AHA. The tournament has raised nearly $200,000 since its inception.
Vencore is also a sponsor for the Greater Washington Heart Walk, AHA’s premiere fundraising event aimed at garnering proceeds for research and treatment to fight heart disease and stroke.
