Digital services provider Octo Consulting Group has moved from Tysons Corner to a new 25,000-square-foot headquarters in Reston, Virginia, near Dulles Toll Road.
The $2 million facility at 10780 Parkridge Blvd. is designed to support the company, which has been recognized as one of the federal market’s fastest-growing firms. Octo has about 350 employees, 130 of whom have been hired in the past 18 months.
“Our new headquarters not only supports our rapid expansion but has afforded us the opportunity to invest in the type of state-of-the-art facility that will allow us to ideate, design and deliver solutions even more rapidly for clients,” said CEO Mehul Sanghani.
The office features large, open community areas, meeting rooms, and private and semi-private workspaces. It will house Octo’s OLabs innovation laboratory, which Sanghani said will support opportunities for employees, partners and customers to collaborate.
The facility will also be a new home to the quarterly hackathons Octo has hosted for several years to develop specific solutions in short time frames to address problems facing government agencies.
“This new facility represents an important milestone in our overall growth strategy,” Sanghani said. “I take great pride in driving down the Dulles Toll Road and seeing our logo among the other contractors who play such a prominent role in advancing the mission of the government.”
Octo specializes in providing agile software development, DevOps and cloud engineering services. The company also has offices in Alexandria, Virginia; Fulton, Maryland; and Atlanta.
