Subsystem Technologies, Inc. has acquired KMS Solutions LLC in a move leaders from both companies said will strengthen client services.

KMS provides systems engineering and technical assistance, policy analysis and workforce development training for the Defense Department and the U.S. intelligence community.

“We are so delighted to have such an exceptional, new partner as KMS Solutions to further expand our capabilities and our customers,” said Subsystem Chairman Vic Malhotra.

KMS Solutions CEO Gail Ursa said the companies share a common vision of providing outstanding service to customers.

“Both our clients and employees will significantly benefit from the resulting combined technical expertise and experience,” she said.

KMS was formed in 2005. It will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Subsystem, which has supported the Defense Department and others for more than 30 years. KMS’ key services include C4ISR systems engineering and integration, cybersecurity and information assurance for classified operating systems and test range engineering and operations.

“KMS Solutions is an outstanding company that provides a perfect strategic fit for our business,” said Shane Thrailkill, chief financial officer of Subsystem. “Gail and Bob Ursa have built an outstanding team that provides excellent customer service and leading edge technologies to critical customer missions.”
