Buchanan & Edwards plans to open a new office in in Chantilly, Virginia, this month, saying the new location will support a recent expansion and further growth in the national security sector.

BE’s new Innovation Center will support the company’s recent expansion following its April acquisition of R2C LLC. The new location also gives closer access to several federal agencies and industry partners in the Westfield area of Chantilly, furthering BE’s plans for strategic development in the national security sector, the company said.

“This is a key growth milestone for Buchanan & Edwards,” CEO Dennis Kelly said. “We are excited to have this great opportunity to expand and bring part of our team closer to some of our national security customers and partners in Fairfax County.”

BE has signed a 5-year lease at 15040 Conference Center Drive, for a modern facility that features spaces for large group presentations, training and collaboration to support internal teams as well as customer and partner gatherings. The company will maintain its current office in the Rosslyn area of Arlington, Virginia, to ensure proximity to its Washington-based customers. Real estate brokerage services for the deal were provided by Cushman & Wakefield.
