Deloitte has named Tamika L. Tremaglio as Deloitte’s Greater Washington’s managing principal. She succeeded Partner Gary Tabach, who is retiring from the organization in June 2017. He will continue serving clients in the region until then.
“Tamika brings an impressive record of accomplishment and dedication to serving clients across the greater Washington region,” Tabach said. “I am confident that she will continue to build and grow our Greater Washington practice while providing valuable and distinctive client service.”
In her new role, Tremaglio will help drive client and business growth and further enhance Deloitte’s strategic positioning in the Greater Washington market. She will also continue working with clients along with her other leadership responsibilities.
“I am grateful and honored to be asked to serve our professionals and clients in the D.C.-area, it is truly a privilege,” Tremaglio said. “I am looking forward to this exciting new role and to continue growing and developing our work in this region.”
Tremaglio also serves as managing principal, East region Deloitte Advisory, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP. She joined Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP as a principal in 2010. She has led numerous large U.S. and multinational client relationships for the advisory practice across the life sciences and forensic and dispute services industries and serves as a board member, and corporate secretary, on the Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP board.
Tremaglio is an active member of the Greater Washington community, including serving as vice chair and audit committee chair of the National Aquarium in Baltimore. She is on the board of directors of the Calverton School, the board of visitors of the University of Maryland School of Law, the advisory board of the Commercial Law Section of the National Bar Association, an active member of the Rho Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and serves as president of the Women’s National Basketball Players Association Foundation.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Mount Saint Mary’s University; a Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law; and a Master of Business Administration from University of Baltimore, Merrick School of Business.
