MacAulay-Brown Inc. announced Jan. 17 Christopher T. Hill has been named the new vice president of human resources. He brings more than 20 years of professional and executive experience to the position. Hill will report directly to MacB Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Mia Kerivan-O’Malley.
“Chris is an outstanding addition to the HR team because his experience, leadership and commitment will continue to strengthen our capabilities and business objectives,” Kerivan-O’Malley said. He will be charged with supporting MacB’s strategic goals across the organization, while we continue to pursue and sustain an exceptional track record of developing and retaining top engineering, technical and professional talent across the industry.”
Hill most recently worked for the Ohio Department of Medicaid in Columbus as the director of HR. He also served for 10 years as the director of HR operations for the Battelle Memorial Institute. Hill served in the U.S. Navy for more than eight years as an HR generalist, earning 1997 Sailor of the Year honors, along with the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, and other medals and citations for meritorious service.
He earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute, Senior Certified Professional Certification from the Society of Human Resources Management and is a Certified White Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
Hill earned a bachelor’s degree in management of human resources from Bellevue University and a master’s degree in labor and human resources from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
