Atlanta, Ga.-based technology-enabled program management, consulting and digital communications solutions provider DLH Holdings Corp. announced Dec. 14 the appointment of Helene Fisher as President of DLH Danya and the company’s new operating unit. She will lead operations for customers largely in the civilian agencies market and focus on leveraging the enterprise-wide capabilities of DLH to support their missions.

“We are delighted to have Helene join our executive team,” DLH President and CEO Zach Parker said. “Her proven management skills and extensive experience with technology-enabled health services including call centers, training systems, electronic health records and specialized staffing make her an ideal candidate for strategically leading and driving our growth in targeted markets for DLH. Additionally, as a member of our executive leadership team, she will be a key contributor to strengthening DLH as it continues its transformational growth.”

Fisher previously held leadership positions with MAXIMUS Federal Services and also lead large-scale program delivery efforts for the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, State and electronic health record programs. She holds Project Management Professional (PMP) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certifications. Fisher previously served as a Captain of the Signal Corps in the U.S. Army.

Fisher earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics/computer science from Prairie View A&M University and a Master of Arts in computer information and resources from Webster University.
