The CMS Innovation Center announced Nov. 3 it has selected business strategy and information technology consultancy Customer Value Partners to help identify, test and apply strategies that target fraud, waste and abuse and noncompliance in its health care demonstrations and innovation models.
“We are thrilled to play our bit in helping CMS test new models of care while protecting the U.S. taxpayer from fraud and waste,” CVP CEO Anirudh Kulkarni said. “Combining health care domain expertise with deep experience in data analysis, CVP and our teammates will work closely with our CMS partners to reduce FWA in these new innovation models.”
Under the 4-year contract, CVP will field teams that analyze market research and data from service delivery and payment models. CVP’s experts will then develop standardized approaches for monitoring compliance and vulnerabilities, and provide evaluation reports and recommendations to prevent risks from scaling into the permanent programs.
