The Children’s Science Center will host a $5 Family Fun Day on Nov. 25. Sponsored by Roqos, this event provides accessibility, promotes family learning and supports the center’s mission to instill a love of learning STEM in all children by providing opportunities to explore, create and be inspired.

“Roqos is an ideal partner with its local roots and focus on using world-class cybersecurity technology to protect families,” Children’s Science Center Executive Director Nene Spivy said. “The Children’s Science Center is grateful to Roqos for their generous support that is instrumental in helping us make the lab accessible for every family. We are happy to provide this special opportunity for family learning on the day after Thanksgiving, which is a perfect time for families to spend quality time together.”

“We are honored to partner with The Children’s Science Center Lab as they have a big impact on our local community and the children who will shape our future in technology, business and everywhere,” Roqos Founder and CEO Sezen Uysal said. “As an engineer, too, STEM is something I consider to be imperative for our growth in the technology sector. We are honored to give back and look forward to seeing what these children create.”

General admission tickets to visitors will be discounted from the daily admission ticket price of $12 per person to only $5 per person. Visitors are asked to purchase tickets online in advance for guaranteed timed entry into the lab as space for the Family Fun Day is limited. Ticket sales will begin Monday, Nov. 14, and will be sold on the day of the event if space is available.
