Robbins Gioia Inc.’s board of directors has appointed Andrew Robinson, currently the company’s chief operating officer, as the new CEO.

“Andrew has deep experience and a strong track record of success in RG’s professional practice areas, and he brings a fresh perspective regarding the continued evolution of our market,” said Jim Leto, CEO of RG’s parent company RG Group Inc.

“We have every confidence that Andrew brings critical new insights that will help RG’s senior leadership team achieve our ambitious goals for the company,” added Ron Bohlin, chairman of RG Group.

Robinson brings to RG more than 25 years of experience in strategic consulting, program management and solutions development. He previously served as ICF International’s senior vice president of enterprise management and resilience, where he managed over 80 programs and projects.

Robinson has served on the boards for several industry and nonprofit organizations, including PMI’s Global Executive Council, American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Council Institute for Innovation, and IAC Executive Committee. He currently serves as a board member on George Washington University’s Research Advisory Board, as well as the GW – Center for Cyber and Homeland Security.

“I am honored to take on this charge of leading a company with a well-earned reputation for ingenuity and unwavering commitment to our clients’ mission success,” Robinson said. “Moving forward, we will build on RG’s leadership in program management and legacy systems modernization, and continue to make investments in RG’s advanced scheduling and cybersecurity solutions and pioneering work in innovation and technology transfer.”
