    DynCorp CEO Lou Von Thaer to Serve as AHA 2016 DC Heart Walk Chairman

    DynCorp International CEO Lou Von Thaer has been named chairman of the American Heart Association‘s 2016 DC Heart Walk, scheduled for Nov. 5 on the National Mall.

    The chapter’s goal is to raise $2.5 million to fund research, education and awareness activities surrounding cardiovascular diseases and stroke education.

    AHA is the largest voluntary health organization working to prevent, treat and defeat heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases. These diseases claim more than 800,000 American lives annually.
