Booz Allen Hamilton and Phantom announced Oct. 3 a new strategic alliance in an effort to deliver new automation and orchestration solutions for incident response and threat defense operations.
“Organizations are faced with an increased volume and sophistication of cyber threats putting significant pressure on cybersecurity professionals,” Booz Allen Hamilton Executive Vice President and leader of the firm’s cyber innovation business Angela Messer said. “Booz Allen’s accumulated cyber intelligence and machine intelligence integration expertise paired with Phantom’s cutting-edge platform will together empower organizations to battle cyber threats in new ways, with surgical precision and at machine speed.”

This alliance will result in improvements for clients via automatic prioritization and remediation of threat alerts, improved resistance to cyberattacks and greater focus on the most critical issues.
Booz Allen will deliver its significant cyber knowledge and security operations plans by crafting new “playbooks” for use on Phantom’s platform, incorporating best practices in cyber threat intelligence, incident response and security operations. This platform will also provide organizations with a new level of insight into cyber events that further bolsters resiliency.
