The Hon. Tom Davis and The Thomas Jefferson Institute for Public Policy will host the 2nd Annual Conference on “Virginia’s Economic Future” from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 14, at George Mason University.
The conference will address the topics of the state’s economic outlook, how key industries are doing, the obstacles standing in the way of growth and the policy changes that should be considered.
Confirmed speakers include incoming Chief Economist at the U.S. Chamber Dr. J.D. Foster; National Association of Manufacturers Chief Economist Dr. Chad Moutray; Mangum Economics President Dr. Fletcher Mangum; Virginia Chamber of Commerce Vice President Keith Martin; GMU’s Center for Regional Analysis Director Terry Clower; VA Manufacturers Association President Brett Vassey; VA NFIB State Director Nicole Riley; and Cassaday and Company President Stephan Cassaday. The discussion will be moderated by GMU Rector and former Rep. Tom Davis.
