Sevatec Inc. announced June 8 the appointment of Michael Dallara as the company’s chief operating officer to oversee business operations and provide strategic leadership.

“In the national security space, our missions are all about leadership, building trust and confidence based on outstanding performance,” Sevatec President and CEO Balan Ayyar said. “Mike brings an extraordinary record of high performance with our key customers and a set of leadership skills and insight that quite simply are inspiring.”

“Sevatec has achieved dynamic growth by excelling in the high technology sector of the government services market,” Dallara said. “This exciting performance reflects on the commitment of the entire firm and our dedication to technical and operational excellence will continue to fuel our future growth.”

Dallara brings 20 years of experience to the position. He has previously served at Engility Corp. as senior vice president, along with L-3 Communications and Harris Corp.

He has a Master of Science in national resource strategy from the National Defense University’s Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy and dual Bachelor of Administration degrees in finance and management from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business.
