Sid Fuchs, President and CEO at MacAulay-Brown, Inc, has been inducted into the Louisiana State University Hall of Distinction Class of 2016.

The LSU Alumni Association Hall of Distinction recognizes involved alumni who through their career, personal and civic accomplishments, community involvement, and loyalty to their alma mater have not only distinguished themselves but the University as well.

The class of 2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the alumni association, which now recognizes 285 individuals from a range of graduate classes.

This is Fuchs’ second induction into an LSU Alumni Association. In 2012 he was selected for the LSU College of Engineering Hall of Distinction and named the Executive in Residence by the College of Engineering the following year. Fuchs was also appointed to the LSU College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council in 2015.

The Alumni Association featured Fuchs and the four other 2016 Hall of Distinction inductees in the June 2016 quarterly issue of LSU Alumni Magazine.

Fuchs graduated from LSU in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, and received his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from LSU in 1987.
