CACI International Inc. announced May 31 that the company has been awarded a $50 million task order by the U.S. Navy’s Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Dahlgren, Va. to continue providing program management and financial support services to NSWC’s Warfare Systems Program Office (WSPO). This five-year task order was awarded under the SeaPort-e contract vehicle.

“CACI will continue to help the U.S. Navy’s Warfare Systems Program Office improve its business process planning and execute its mission-critical programs while optimizing resources and reducing costs,” CACI’s Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations John Mengucci said.

“CACI’s expertise in managing complex, large-scale military programs along with our focus on providing innovative technologies will help the Navy deliver combat systems that keep our sailors safe and our nation secure,” CACI President and CEO Ken Asbury said.

Under this contract, CACI will continue to support WSPO and WSPO Program Directorates efforts, as well as business process improvement and standardization initiatives. The work includes delivering new technologies such as war room IT systems and document management tools to help WSPO streamline its business processes and meet mission requirements to develop combat systems on time and within budget.

NSWC provides research and development, test and evaluation, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare and sensor systems.
