Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) announced May 13 the appointment of Suzanne Wilson-Houck as the company’s first Chief Operating Officer.
“Suzanne has been integral to INSA’s recent success and continued growth,” INSA Chairman Letitia A. Long said. “Thanks to her leadership, business acumen and commitment to membership service, INSA’s financial health and brand have never been stronger. Suzanne is most deserving of this promotion, and I look forward to the many contributions she will make in her enhanced role.”
“Suzanne has demonstrated extraordinary dedication to INSA’s mission of fostering public-private partnership as well as to our members,” INSA President Chuck Alsup said. “She is precisely the right person to assume this new role. INSA is very fortunate to have her professionalism and leadership in planning and guiding its future.”
Wilson-Houck served as INSA’s vice president of business development since 2012, with INSA corporate membership surpassing 160 organizations in that time. In her new role, she will continue to oversee marketing and business development efforts, as well as take a greater role in the strategic direction and planning of the organization.
Prior to INSA, Wilson-Houck served as Vice President of marketing for Ripple Communications, Director of Business Development for Altron, Inc. and as marketing and business development manager for a regional airport in Virginia. She began her career on Capitol Hill as Whip Assistant to U.S. Congressman Newt Gingrich.
A native of Roswell, Ga., Wilson-Houck earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Auburn University.
