NCI Inc. announced April 6 that the company has been awarded a five-year, multiple-award blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with a ceiling value of $25 million through the General Services Administration (GSA) and its 18F technology consulting group to provide agile services.
âWe are thrilled to be working with the GSA to bring transformative agile technologies to current and new customers,â NCI President and CEO Brian J. Clark said. âAgile software and Lean O&M comprise our core software delivery philosophies. Weâre excited to extend the benefits of this approach more broadly across the federal government through GSAâs innovative BPA.â
Following GSAâs request for a âshow-meâ type response, NCIâs submission was a working prototype of a U.S. Food and Drug Administration food recall impact application, built using agile tools and methods the company currently leverages for its federal customers.
The award is subject to the terms and conditions of the companyâs GSA Schedule 70. GSAâs Assisted Acquisition Services office will manage the post-award task orders.
