In January, members of WashingtonExec’s 11 result-oriented networking Councils came together for its bi-monthly GovCon Executive Happy Hour at Maggiano’s in Tysons Corner.
WashingtonExec publicly thanked Mark Cohn, Founding Chairperson of the Emerging Technologies Council, for his work in forming the group and moderating dozens of roundtables. Cohn has been with WashingtonExec since its founding and has had a large influence in its core mission and expansion. Along with presenting Cohn with an award, Vice Chairperson of the Emerging Technologies Council, Tom Suder of Mobilegov shared a couple funny stories about Cohn and his time as leader of the Council.
The event acts as a time for executives from different branches of the government contracting industry to network and mingle.
“Great food, great people and a great event! Highly recommend attending the GovCon Executive Happy Hour. Networking at a premium and AST is excited to be one of the newest members of the WashingtingExec network as well as a co-sponsor” said Craig Ridley, Vice President of Business Development at Allegheny Science & Technology.
Allegheny Science & Technology, a technology and engineering company, and Sutherland Global Services, a technology and analytics enabled BPO enterprise, co-sponsored the event.
WashingtonExec is proud to announce the launch of its membership-based executive recruiting service. The service is a value-added option to its current members looking to fill senior-level GovCon management positions and is a less expensive and more micro-targeted option, when compared to larger search firms.
