WashingtonExec’s newest Council is the General Mangers Council, chaired by John Sutton, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Vencore’s Civilian and Defense Group. The mission of the mastermind group is for leaders to have the appropriate forum to collaborate on challenges such as the future of govcon industry, cultural implications of competing generations, the art of M&A integration, management of abstract verse tactical leadership goals, and adjacent market penetration. As Chairman, Sutton will go beyond addressing the tactical, day-to-day and direct report role of a General Manager and will facilitate discussions that relate to the specific needs of an executives in the GM and COO positions. Executives fit for the Council lead businesses sized between $50M – $500M in revenue and above.
