    Dave Ziegler, ASRC Federal

ASRC Federal will support Kratos Defense & Security Solutions in developing an Advanced Fire Control Ground Infrastructure for the U.S. Space Development Agency’s Advanced Fire Control missions.

Kratos is the prime contractor on this 5-year, $116.7 million project.

“We look forward to working with SDA and Kratos to bolster the country’s defense against advanced missile threats,” said David Ziegler, ASRC Federal senior vice president of national security space in the space group. “Our expertise in high-end engineering and mission operations for U.S. government space and defense missions will help AFCGI explore and validate new technologies to address threats quickly and efficiently.”

ASRC Federal will support Kratos by providing operational staffing and sustainment for the Demonstration Operations Center, enabling advanced fire control demonstrations.

These demonstrations will enhance SDA’s Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture, enabling real-time coordination for space-based tracking of advanced missile threats, including hypersonic missiles.

Work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama.
