Information solutions and services provider, CACI International Inc. announced that the Department of Agriculture awarded it a five-year $199 million task order to provide operations and maintenance support and enhancements to the USDA’s Web-Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) system.

“CACI has provided high-value, proven business system solutions to our federal customers for more than 15 years now, and this contract supporting such a complex supply chain management system – one with a critically important mission – is an excellent example of our continuing success and commitment to this market,” stated John Mengucci, Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations at CACI.

CACI will be offering system operations and maintenance support to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of the WBSCM system as well as implement enhancements to improve the end-user experience and how the solution supports the Department’s mission.

Ken Asbury, President and Chief Executive Officer at CACI stated, “This contract supporting the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a new customer for CACI, significantly expands our presence in our Logistics and Material Readiness and Business Systems market areas. We look forward to supporting the USDA and enhancing its ability to provide food and nutrition programs both domestically and abroad.”
