On April 1st the second Women in Government Contracting Leadership Forum will take place at The Hotel at Arundel Preserve in Hanover, MD. The theme for this event is “Grow your business and Yourself – Perspectives in Federal Contracting”. This day-long event will focus on the contribution of women in leadership to the government contracting community and the impact on regional business growth.
The conference will begin at 8:30am with sign-in, breakfast and networking opportunities followed at 9:30am by the Welcome and Opening remarks given by Deb Alderson of Sotera. The Keynote speaker for this event will be Marta Wilson, Author and Founder/CEO of Transformation Systems Inc. Wilson has written multiple books that maximize every leader’s impact and influence on their own enterprise and beyond. Following the keynote, there will be breakout sessions during the day with various panelists at each. The topics will include; “Delegate to Elevate”, “Improving Your Value Chain”, “Transformational Leadership”, and “Leveraging Your Certification”. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists and to network with fellow attendees. The day will conclude with a reception from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The cost for an individual to attend will be $125 for a member and $150 for a non-member. Continuing Professional Education credits will be applied.
