Salient CRGT Inc. announced March 10 that the company has received a prime contract award from the Dept. of Transportation (DOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA).
“Our team is very proud to continue our relationship with the PHMSA. The agency’s mission of protecting our public safety is an incredible responsibility,” Salient CRGT CEO Brad Antle said. “The agency is dedicated to continuous improvement of our citizens’ safety through collaboration and visibility of the multiple modes of transportation. We are committed to supporting the agency’s efforts through our data integration, analytics and visualization.”
Under the contract, Salient CRGT will continue to provide data warehousing support, dashboards, reports, and applications that integrate more than 4 million multi-agency records originating from 70 data sources in to a single operating picture. This five-year award is valued at approximately $9 million.
Salient CRGT has developed, maintained, and operated the Multimodal HazMat Intelligence Portal (HIP) and Pipeline Data Mart (PDM) for the past seven years. An eGovernment initiative, HIP is an essential system for the secure sharing of critical hazardous material information.
This award was through its wholly owned subsidiary, Guident Inc.
This work was funded in part, under the Dept. of Transportation, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.
The PHMSA mission is to protect people and the environment from the risks of hazardous materials transportation.
