    AT&T Awarded Spot on DISA’s Global Networking Contract

    It was announced on March 1st by provider of communications services AT&T that is has been awarded a position on the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) Global Networking Services (GNS) contract. DISA provides enterprise network and IT infrastructure in support of the Department of Defense and its support organizations worldwide.

    With a spot on this contract AT&T will be given the chance to bid on and provide global networking services to DISA. Some of the offerings that AT&T would provide are; global and regional transport services, software-defined networking, Ethernet and network integration services.

    Kay Kapoor, President of AT&T Global Business – Public Sector Solutions stated, “This award lets us do our part to help defend the nation. It aligns with our long-standing commitment to use our innovative technology solutions to support our troops, national safety and freedom.”
