It was announced on January 20th by information technology and professional services and solutions provider, NCI, Inc. that it has been awarded a $9 million IT support services subcontract by the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Rome Research Site (RRS) in Rome, New York. This is a one-year based period and four one-year option period contract. This subcontract award will build upon the existing work provided to RRS by NCI under and existing subcontract with CDO Technology Inc. on its NETCENTS-2 contract.
Brian J. Clark, President and CEO of NCI stated, “We are pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with AFRL through this win. It demonstrates our ability to provide high-quality network engineering in an efficient and cost-effective manner, and we look forward to continuing our support of cyber research efforts for the U.S. Air Force.”
Through this contract engineering and technical support for communications and computer core services, applications development, testing, integration and user support will be provided by NCI to RRS.
