It was announced on February 5th by software developer and solutions innovator Vistronix Intelligence & Technology Solutions that it has been awarded a $30 million five-year contract to provide Data Analytics and IT support services to the National Toxicology Program (NTP) at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
The objective of the NTP is to assess factors of public health concern by establishing and administering analytical tools of modern toxicology and molecular biology. It arose as a result of increasing scientific, regulatory, and Congressional concerns about the human health effects of chemical agents in our environment.
With this contract Vistronix will be leveraging advanced technologies for toxicology data collection and ingest, data integration, and data visualization in support of decision making. To recognize how the environment impacts the development and progression of human disease in order to ultimately reduce the burden of human illness and disability.
